Durian Made Products

As what we have told you before, durians can be used to make many products and all these are downstream products.

We have produced our own durian mochi. The tastes is almost like ice-cream, rich and creamy and not forgetting the strong durian taste and aroma. Our durian mochi has soft and chewy mochi skin which is made of glutinous rice flour. Keep it frozen and before you want to eat it, just defrost for 5 minutes.

Another favourite and new invention is durian parfait. It is a french dessert with cream, crushed marie biscuits and of course durian. Keep it frozen and defrost for a few minutes before consumption. You will love it as another dessert.

Are you keen for durian glutinous rice ball? It is quite similar to mochi except that you need to boil the glutinous rice ball first. This is also known as tang yuan. You will not believe it. Once the glutinous rice ball floats, it is ready to be scoop out and served. The rich, creamy texture of the durian filling just oozes out.

The King of Fruits - Durian

Durians, are also known as King of the Fruits. It has a very strong pungent smell. Its outer shell is thorny. The durian flesh is yellowish in colour and it is actually very delicious. We have the sweet type, a bit of bitter type and a mixture of others. Most people love the sweet bitter type. Durians can be eaten fresh once you open its shell. Some will keep it frozen to be eaten later or even to export overseas. Nowadays, we also use the durian flesh to make many confectionery products like cakes, mooncake, durian pastry, durian tarts, durian cream puff, durian mochi, durian pancake, apam balik and many more that you can name it.
