As what we have told you before, durians can be used to make many products and all these are downstream products.
We have produced our own durian mochi. The tastes is almost like ice-cream, rich and creamy and not forgetting the strong durian taste and aroma. Our durian mochi has soft and chewy mochi skin which is made of glutinous rice flour. Keep it frozen and before you want to eat it, just defrost for 5 minutes.
Another favourite and new invention is durian parfait. It is a french dessert with cream, crushed marie biscuits and of course durian. Keep it frozen and defrost for a few minutes before consumption. You will love it as another dessert.
Are you keen for durian glutinous rice ball? It is quite similar to mochi except that you need to boil the glutinous rice ball first. This is also known as tang yuan. You will not believe it. Once the glutinous rice ball floats, it is ready to be scoop out and served. The rich, creamy texture of the durian filling just oozes out.
